What is it?
An oral medication called Letrozole is commonly used to help patients ovulate. This medication is typically taken from cycle day 3 to cycle day 7 (with cycle day 1 being the first day of your period). After you have taken this medication for 5 days we will schedule cycle monitoring appointments where we perform blood work and ultrasound to monitor your ovaries for follicular growth and predict when ovulation will occur.
Patients with irregular menstrual cycles
Patients who do not ovulate
Patients with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)
